Bright Stores Newsletter March 21, 2008

At Bright Stores, we recognize that one of the most important reasons that you may set up a company store is to maintain control. Control over spending. Control over products. Control over information. The three new features highlighted in this newsletter were designed to give you just that…. More control.

CATEGORY LEVELSBright Stores Webinars

Bright Stores has taken the question of control to a whole new level. We now offer an advanced tool that will allow you greater management of your user’s purchases.  Imagine having the ability to set up strict limits on what they may order. With Bright Stores Category Levels, you can easily:
  • Set up custom named levels in your store.
  • Set up a category of products with a level association.
  • Users are assigned the levels that they are allowed to order from.
  • Users are assigned the number of products they may order from each level.
Taking control of store spending has never been so easy!

BUDGET EXCLUSIONS

Exclusions is a useful tool offering flexibility in how a users’ budget is used. By setting up this flexible new feature, you may exclude certain products from the budget calculations upon checkout.

Set products to be excluded from the budget at the product level.

LEDGER ENTRIES

Need more budget information from your users? If so, you may be interested in this feature. The Ledger Entries feature offers users a choice of budget entry notes upon checkout. These entries are set up and fully customizable by you.

Set up your Ledger Entries in the Store Edit tab under features.

DATA ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Have you ever visited an online store and been required to acknowledge that you’ve read their text? Well, now you can set up a customizable Data Acknowledgement field in your store’s checkout page.

Data Acknowledgement allows you to require that a shopper acknowledges reading custom data, prior to check out. This feature allows you to be assured that your users are reading important material.
People forget how fast you did a job – but they remember how well you did it.
